The Rosary of the Father
The Rosary of the Father
Reflecting upon the five mysteries help us to form The "Rosary of the Father", and enables us to further explore and ponder on His mercy, The mercy of God the Father "is more
powerful than evil, more powerful
than sin and death" (Dives in
Misericordia, VIII, 15). It reminds us
that Mankind can and must become
an instrument of the triumph
of Love of the Father, by
giving its "yes" to Him in fullness
and thus entering into the circle
of Trinitarian Love that makes it
"the living glory of God"; it
teaches us to live the mystery o f
suffering which is a great gift because
it gives us the possibility to
bear witness to our Love for the
Father and to allow Him to bear
witness to Himself, by descending
among us

IMPORTANT
Approval
given by the Archbishop of Foggia, Mons. Giuseppe
Casale, on 23 November 1988.
However, we mustn’t replace the Rosary of Mary
with the Rosary of the Father; instead, after reciting the entire Marian Rosary of 20 mysteries,
we must ask our
Mother to recite the Rosary of the Father with us. She will
do it and will invoke our Heavenly Father with us. He will
not be able to resist our call and hers; He will come
through Jesus and make "new heavens and a new earth"
(Rev. 21).
HOW TO BEGIN
Begin with the Sign of the Cross.
O God come to my assistance.
Lord, make haste to help me.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy
Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall
be, world without end. Amen.
My good Father, I offer myself to Thee.
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love
commits me here, ever this day, be at my side to light and
guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
Prayers to the Father
Father I abandon myself into your hands
Charles de Foucauld
Father, I abandon myself into your hands;
do with me what you will.
Whatever you may do, I thank you:
I am ready for all, I accept all.
Let only your will be done in me,
and in all Your creatures -
I wish no more than this, O Lord.
Into your hands I commend my soul;
I offer it to you with all the love of my heart,
for I love you Lord,
and so need to give myself,
to surrender myself into your hands,
without reserve,
and with boundless confidence,
For you are my Father.
Father - Earth needs you
Maria Teresa d’Abenante
Father, the earth needs You;
Man too, we all need You;
the heavily polluted air needs You.
We beg You, dear Father,
come back to walk the streets of the world;
come back to live among Your people;
come back to guide the nations:
come back to bring peace
and, with it, Justice;
come back to bring the fire or Your love,
so that, redeemed by sorrow.
we may become new creatures in You.
Amen, Amen.
Father - Grant me
Maria Teresa d’Abenante
Father, grant me a profound desire to love continuously;
let me understand that with every instant that passes
I will no longer be able to live it in Love;
let me feel profound suffering
for all the time I wasted
and for all the time I could waste.
Father, command my spirit to live continuously in Love
and even when my body is distracted
may my spirit love You continuously.
And in You, with You and for You,
may I love the whole universe
and every creature that crosses my path.
Father, only this do I desire.
And I desire that not even a shadow of a lack of love
may darken my spirit,
so that when I see it at the moment of my death
I may be delighted to see it shine
